We believe companies should empower independence and self-reliance. That’s why we make our stoves right here in America.

Liberator Rocket Heaters started when a poor father-son duo sought ways to cut their wood heating bill. After extensive research, the duo stumbled upon rocket heaters and machined their first prototype. Seeing it do wonders for their heating, they refined the design and took the product to market.

The first Liberator heaters were made and shipped out of their residence in St. Louis. Local regulators, however, made doing business too burdensome as they didn't have the money to renovate their building to code, forcing them to move to the backwoods of Missouri. After eight years of of saving and reinvesting, the duo acquired a 30,000 square foot factory and hired their first employees in Bourbon, MO.

Today, the company has the most efficient non-catalytic and non-electric wood heater on the market. Liberator's heaters holds more safety underwriting than any other heaters on the market and are UL-1482, ULC-S627, and ASTM-E 1509 certified.
